“ We enjoyed breakfast here in Dec 2022 and we can't wait to visit again and try lunch and dinner. There are a variety of seating options and plenty of room for big groups. The service was kind, attentive, and helpful. Felt like we were regulars, although it was our first time there - great spot to enjoy a yummy breakfast. I don't remember the name of our dishes, but both of our dishes were super tasty! Fresh homemade jam and the pancake was so good! Update, we enjoyed lunch in Feb 2023. My husband had the cheesesteak sandwich with sweet potatoe fries and I had the chicken wrap with tots. Very yummy! ”
“ Last place we expected to go to, we got into a car accident down the street and needed something to eat, there was no cell service. When the person coming to pick us up notcied this little place next to us we decided to get some dinner there. Employees did their job very well and got us some pretty decent food and even gave the dog we brought some water. The pie was amazing as well. I would have tried some of their other food but I was still pretty full from another meal. ”
“ Had some time to make the drive back to Portland from the coast more leisurely on Saturday at the tail end of spring break and decided to stop in for a sit-down lunch. Had often wondered about Alice's but had never before stopped. The dessert case looks amazing, and the place is obviously well known for their pies and other tantalizing sweets, but we had no room for that. My 10 year old son and I both polished off filling 1/4 pound burgers and a beverage. The 1/3 lb burgers we only saw looked like monster sandwiches with bigger buns and more of everything. Service was good and friendly. The staff all seem to get along and work well together, too. Family friendly with a modest but good selection of beers to boot. Will return. ”
“ Listen, don't let the exterior fool you, this restaurant is legit. The pie is the best part, and they even served it with a dessert fork. You can even buy a whole pie if it's available. So if you're stuck behind a line of 10 cars (or not), stop here - it's worth it. ”

“ What a lovely place! Visiting the area for one of my weekend drives and stayed a few days. As a strong supporter of independent businesses and of course my search brought me to this lovely place. I made sure to stop each day for breakfast. I met the owners and from there it was like we were longtime friends at each visit. I’m not good at names but the owner’s daughter is just the sweetest that I’ve met in a longtime. Lovely best made homemade and real pies and experimental cute frosted pink cakes. Totally a place of positivity and the almost famous coconut cream pie. Highly recommend the Brian special on the breakfast menu if you love biscuits and gray. Please go to this family owned and independent restaurant and help them continue to thrive. ”
“ Seriously!! How have I never been here!? On way back to Portland from beach & found this gem. Totally a museum with a perfectly run old style diner. Food was fresh & yummy. Service was prompt & authentically friendly Pretty sure that’s a stuffed Wolverine on the armoire in the back. Love it!!! ”
“ I have so many good things to say about this restaurant, so I'm starting with the food first. We ordered a burger, fish n chips, and a carrot cake. Honestly, each and everything was truly amazing. The burger was delicious and juicy, and fish and chips were crispy and tasteful. The fries were one of the best I have ever tried so far. They gave us some white sauce, which was incredibly good. So yeah, full marks for food. The service was friendly and our order came really quick. The sitting area was clean and comfortable, gave us the vibe of having dinner at home. ”
